MyoGuy Muscle Therapeutics
Policies, Procedures and Agreements
No-Shows and 24 Hour Cancellation Policy:

24 Hours Notice (or more):
If you need to make any changes to your scheduled appointment time, please do so at least 24 hours before the existing scheduled appointment, during our normal business hours. This allows us to possibly locate another client that could benefit from our service during that time slot. If you make such change with 24 hours or more notice, there is no charge whatsoever and we thank you for your consideration.

Less than 24 Hours Notice:
If you make a change to a scheduled appointment with less than 24 hours notice, 1/2 of the scheduled fee for that appointment will be charged.

Late Arrivals:
Please call if you are going to be late. If the appointment time comes and we have not seen you nor heard from you, we must conclude it will be a "No-Show" after the first 15 minutes have elapsed into the scheduled appointment time. Since our therapists are here on a "By Appointment Only" scheduling, the therapist may leave and not be available, should you show up more than 15 minutes late. If you call us and let us know you're on your way, we will wait patiently by until the full appointment time-slot has passed. Since there may be someone scheduled after your appointment, you will only be able to receive treatment for the remaining duration of the appointment, but will be charged for the full scheduled session.

No-Shows:
You will be billed for the entire amount of the scheduled session, due within 1 calendar week of the scheduled appointment. If this happens twice, you will need to prepay for each of the following three appointments at the time you schedule them. If you No-Show a third time, you will need to find another therapist.

Payment of No-Show and Cancellation Fees:
All such fees are due in full before the start of the next scheduled appointment or within 1 calendar week of the originally scheduled appointment, whichever occurs first. Please note that the client is fully, personally responsible for all charges and fees and that any insurance, "Flex Plans", and Medical Spending Accounts will not customarily pay for penalty fees incurred by the Client.

Grace and Consideration:
Everyone gets one "free-pass", with no penalties and no charges. Just an acknowledgement that we all, "oops!" sometimes.
At the sole discretion of the owner, exceptions may be made to the benefit of the client for what the owner feels is good reason. The owner's decisions are final. "Medical Emergencies" of the client or their family are almost always considered such exception. The dog needing to have it's nails trimmed does not count as a medical emergency of the immediate family. Scheduling an appointment with us for a time when you know you are also "On-Call" for work does NOT count as an exception, should you indeed be "called into work". We know that "stuff happens" in life, but we're also trying to operate a business and make a living and are simply asking for the same respect and consideration we gladly offer to our clients. This also serves the Client well in that therapy is more effective in an atmosphere of mutual respect.

Practicing What We Preach:
If the Therapist is late for an appointment, you, the Client, will have the option of expanding the session to include the full scheduled amount of time, if that works for both the Client and Therapist's schedules, or the Therapist will reduce the session fee for the amount of time s/he was late, using 5 minute increments, rounding up in your favor. AND s/he will give the Client the same amount of time they were late FREE in a future session of your choosing. In other words, We'll make good on the scheduled time AND DOUBLE IT, free of charge, with our sincere apology.
